Advising the Foundation of your planned gift commitment makes you eligible for membership in the Society of 1895. The Society of 1895 draws its name from the founding year of Fairmount College, predecessor to the University of Wichita and now, Wichita State University. From this proud legacy, we honor those alumni and friends who have included a gift to Wichita State in their estate plans as special guests at an annual luncheon with presentation of a custom membership certificate and a listing in our annual report.
